Taban Yazd combined cycle power plant

The 484 MW combined cycle power plant of Taban is located 25 km southeast of Yazd in Sadouq city. This power plant has two 162 MW V94.2 gas units and one steam unit with a capacity of 160 MW.

The construction operation of this power plant was completed in February 2016 and entered the electricity circuit of the country as a combined cycle. Also, negotiations for financing and participation for the implementation of the second phase are underway.

Gostar Jam Energy Company, as a related company of Mahtab Group, manages and owns this power plant.
